Innovative. Strategic. Empowering.
Built to transform healthcare at scale.
Healthcare executive, registered pharmacist, and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Currently VP, Commercial Solutions Management at CCS (Chronic Care Solutions) — driving commercial strategy that connects people living with diabetes to the technologies, medications, and clinical support they need to manage their condition with confidence.
Learn more about my workI'm Christine Sawicki — a healthcare technology executive, registered pharmacist, and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt based in the Greater Boston Area.
My career has been defined by one through-line: taking on problems that sit at the edge of what's been done before and building something that works. At CVS Health, I spent nearly two decades doing exactly that — inventing a secure patient messaging platform that earned U.S. Patent #11,387,005, architecting a digital prescription platform that doubled EBIT to over $70M, and creating the industry's first ASHP-accredited Specialty Innovation PGY1 Pharmacy Residency.
As VP, Commercial Solutions Management at CCS (Chronic Care Solutions), I lead commercial strategy for an organization committed to making diabetes management more accessible, effective, and personal. CCS delivers Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems, insulin pumps, and diabetes monitoring technologies, medications, and supplies directly to patients — paired with clinical education and coaching that helps people start therapy, stay on therapy, and achieve better health outcomes. With coverage across more than 1,800 in-network plans, I work at the intersection of health plan strategy, provider partnerships, and employer engagement to expand access and improve the patient experience.
Beyond my executive roles, I serve as adjunct faculty at Assumption University, teaching in MBA and Health Advocacy programs — bringing real-world healthcare strategy into the classroom and investing in the next generation of healthcare leaders.
What I bring to the table isn't just strategic thinking — it's the clinical credibility, technical fluency, and executive presence to move organizations from idea to impact. A three-time CVS Health Breakthrough Award recipient, I've built a career on solving problems that haven't been solved yet. My career has always been defined by the same values: innovation, relationships, commitment, and service — not just as words, but as the operating principles behind every initiative I've built and every team I've led.
Outside of healthcare, I am a musician and chorister with the Diocese of Worcester and St. Paul's Cathedral Choir for over 35 years, Board President of the Salisbury Singers, and Chair Emeritus of the Assumption University Parent & Family Board — rooted in the same values of commitment, service, and community that have guided my entire career.
Currently leading commercial strategy at CCS (Chronic Care Solutions), where my focus is connecting patients living with diabetes to the right technologies, medications, and clinical support — and building the health plan, provider, and employer partnerships that make that access possible. Inventor of two U.S.-patented technologies with proven commercial impact at scale.

Advanced Pharmacoeconomic Analysis certification (USC & Amgen). Track record deploying data analytics strategy for predictive patient care, clinical decision support, and performance guarantee frameworks that reduce financial risk while improving outcomes.
Over a decade leading clinical and digital innovation within CVS Specialty — one of the nation's largest specialty pharmacy divisions — across the most complex and high-cost therapeutic areas. Built and scaled patient engagement platforms, digital adherence solutions, and clinical program frameworks for patients managing oncology, rare disease, autoimmune, and other specialty conditions where medication complexity and adherence are critical to outcomes.
Invented a patented secure clinical messaging platform (US Patent #11,387,005) specifically designed for specialty patients — achieving industry-leading engagement in populations where standard digital tools fail. Developed and deployed predictive analytics and clinical decision support tools that optimized care pathways for high-acuity patients and reduced financial risk through performance guarantee frameworks.
Established the first ASHP-accredited Specialty Innovation PGY1 Pharmacy Residency — architecting a lasting talent pipeline that equips the next generation of pharmacists to lead at the frontier of specialty care, digital health innovation, and clinical excellence, institutionalizing the connection between pharmacy practice and transformational outcomes. Led innovation for design, technology, and pharmacist-led services to define the future of pharmacy. Led enterprise-wide omnichannel strategy achieving over 65% digital engagement and 97% patient opt-in across specialty therapy management programs — results that set new industry benchmarks.
Deep therapeutic knowledge across oncology (including CML and oral chemotherapy adherence), autoimmune, rare disease, and complex chronic conditions — combined with the commercial and digital strategy expertise to translate clinical insight into scalable solutions that demonstrably improve outcomes and generate enterprise value.
Deep experience navigating the unique commercial and clinical complexities of rare disease — where patient populations are small, diagnostic journeys are long, and access barriers are profound. Built and scaled specialty pharmacy programs and digital engagement platforms for patients managing conditions where standard care pathways don't apply. Expertise in designing high-touch, clinically informed support models that address the distinct needs of rare disease patients, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary teams that serve them.
Specialized understanding of the orphan drug landscape — including the regulatory, reimbursement, and market access dynamics that govern ultra-rare conditions. Experience supporting orphan product commercialization within the specialty pharmacy channel, where payer coverage complexity, prior authorization burden, and limited clinical precedent create significant access challenges. Skilled at building the evidence, advocacy, and patient support infrastructure that enables orphan therapies to reach the patients who need them.
Gene therapy represents one of the most complex and consequential frontiers in modern medicine — and one of the most demanding commercialization challenges in the specialty pharmacy landscape. With experience in hemophilia and other rare conditions where gene therapies are transforming the standard of care, I bring a grounded understanding of the clinical, operational, and financial infrastructure required to support one-time curative therapies at scale.
From site of care logistics and cold-chain distribution to long-term outcomes tracking, value-based contracting, and payer engagement for therapies with multi-million-dollar price points — I understand what it takes to build the commercial and patient support ecosystems that give gene therapies the best chance of reaching patients and delivering on their promise. An emerging area of strategic focus as these modalities move from clinical trials into mainstream specialty pharmacy.
